Last weekend a three day symposium of the worldwide renown Mayo Clinic took place in Paris, France. Dr. Proebstle was invited speaker for one of totally 4 International Debates. He spoke on saphenous vein ablation, e.g. with ClosureFast or Laser, his opponent Dr. Pittaluga from Nice, France, speaking in favor for the ASVAL method. Both speakers tried to convince the international audience with their treatment concepts.
The electronic voting, however, showed a clear result: 72% : 28% in favor of Dr. Proebstle.

Vergangenes Wochenende fand in Paris ein dreitägiges Symposium der weltweit renommierten Mayo Clinic statt.
Dr. Proebstle war eingeladener Redner für eine von insgesamt vier internationalen kontroversen Debatten. Als Protagonist für die Verfahren zur Ausschaltung der Vena saphena magna wie etwa Laser, stieg er gegen Dr. Pittaluga aus Nizza, der für die ASVAL Methode sprach, in den Ring. Beide Redner versuchten in ihren Vorträgen mit deutlichen Worten das internationale Auditorium von ihren Behandlungskonzepten zu überzeugen. Die elektronische Abstimmung brachte dann ein klares Ergebniss:
